Nashville Tennessee is a major songwriting and music center of the world. Tens of thousands of Songwriters live here and tens of thousands of out of town songwriters along with up to a million music pilgrims, travel to experience Nashville every year. During the height of the tourist season in 2013, the Nashville SongWriters Festival on Music Row will host the 11th annual event. Over 450 Songwriters or "FestHeads" will be scheduled to perform each day representing the USA and International participants from all genres of music on up to eight stages for three continious days.

Part of the annual event also focuses on education. Over a seventeen music related topics are covered that include business realities and practices. From Career Critiques, Product Critiques, Recording, Publishing, Plugging, Legal, Records, Duplication, Distribution, Radio, Video, Broadcasting, Shop, Management, Promotions, Productions and more. Participants range from professional to novice at their craft.

The combination of live original singer songwriter performances, 3 days of educational instruction and industry Open House make this event unique, fun, and a networking opportunity worthwhile for all participants. The NSWF is a stepping stone and networking experience for hopeful Songwriting professionals.

The Nashville SongWriters Festival staff is mostly made up of volunteers who put on the event. Each stage has volunteers working shifts to act as emcees, stage hands, sound engineers and other task to help keep things moving.

There are many opportunities presented here that can advance your business goals. The festival seeks direct support from the music community at large to fund or trade with the event. Our operating costs are kept as low as possible. Please consider your business participation as we help generate hundreds of thousands of recurring impressions for our sponsors regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Also keep in mind, we have the Independent Music Fest / Nashville every early October. So we can spread your business message in many ways.
